2026 – 2028: International Roadshow
NSE's international workgroup is organising an International Roadshow with interesting workshops across several countries. Either in person or online, the workshops focus on knowledge sharing and expanding collaboration across borders.
The planning is still being finalized. Keep an eye out for our announcements.

North Sea conferences
The North Sea community comes together at various conferences and events throughout autumn 2026. Join the conversation, exchange ideas, and connect with experts shaping the future of the North Sea.
North Sea Energy programme members will be present at these events as speakers and participants, sharing insights and engaging with stakeholders across the sector.
Look out for:
• Offshore Experience, 3 September 2026, Den Helder, on the topic of multi-use
• Noordzee Dagen, 1 October 2026, Neeltje Jans, on the wind sector and North Sea stakeholders
• Wind Meets Gas, 8 and 9 October 2026, Groningen, on the collaboration between the wind and gas sectors
• OEEC RAI, 24 and 25 November, Amsterdam, networking within the international offshore sectors. Look out for our workshop!
North Sea Energy Atlas
Developed within the NSE program, the interactive online Atlas offers an international, data-driven overview of key sectors in the North Sea area: energy, transport, ecology, fisheries, and defense. It not only shows today’s energy flows, from oil and gas to offshore wind, but also reveals scenario's for 2030, 2035, 2040 and 2050.

Infographics
Turning complex insights into clear stories: in 2025, North Sea Energy developed five engaging infographics that highlight the key findings from our research in 2023-2025. Launched at our concluding event at the EYE Filmmuseum in Amsterdam, these visual explainers make the opportunities and challenges of an integrated North Sea energy system accessible to a wider audience.

Webinar: multi-use of space & offshore stakeholder engagement In March 2025 we organised a webinar, moderated by Rene Peters, to present insights on best practices in Offshore Stakeholder Engagement and Multi-use of space in the North Sea. Two topics that must be dealt with in the (offshore) energy transition, as the North Sea is among the busiest maritime areas in the world. The need for sustainable energy developments brings challenges and opportunities.
